Schwinn 240 Recumbent Excercise Bike Review by Harlwen (USA)
General Impression: I really like this bike – finally an exercise machine that doesn’t kill my back and knees. I lost 7 pounds the first week using the bike while watching TV in the evening! My dog who runs at the sound of noise will lay right next to me while I “ride”, it is that quite.

Assembly: It says it is a two person assembly, I didn’t find that necessary. I am 57 year old women and 70 pounds overweight, I was able to unpack and assemble this bike in 1 1/2 hours on my own, I know how to use tools, but I think even if I didn’t I could figure out how to assemble because the picture shows what tool to use. The instructions tell you what bolt, washer and the tool to use, the parts are packaged and labeled very well. The negative is that they pre-assembled some pieces for packaging that you have to dismantle to work wiith the other pieces, this can be confusing. Most of the assembly just requires common sense and following the instructions.

Programming: The instructions for the console are a bit unclear, I would like to have a more step-by-step instruction. (4 star rating is because of instructions and programming manual.)
